In which the heat made everything surreal

scarletamethystI accomplished absolutely nothing today besides going to the bank to deposit money for my rent. The heat was so stifling I was struggling just to get up to eat. Everything felt so slow; there was no one else in the house, even my three chihuahua's were napping quietly on thier backs on my front porch.
I feel lucky I didn't get into an accident whilst driving to the bank, that was how low my concentration was. Couldn't even press the gas pedal hard enough to go past 30 mph.......sighs......
Talked to my lil bro's friend Ivan about him, think I might've said too many personal things about our family, but ah well. Supposed to do so many things today, including reading up on the 6 chapters for my class tomorrow......yikes...
Spent all last nite trying to find a decent Brazilian BBQ buffet.................something as nice as the one in San Diego. Elegant setting and unlimited meat galore!!! yum.......
Overall, I felt as if today was a dream going in slow motion and I was a puppet drifting along.....haha
