Happy 22nd Birthday to Me

scarletamethystAnother year older, not so much wiser sadly. Although this year's birthday is much less stressful, not having to deal with driving to crowded Las Vegas and a buddy fainting in the hot tub......
This year I took the easy way out and invited my sibs and friend Joyce to eat Korean BBQ with me. Unlike last time at Soot Bool Gui Rim 2 where the salad was wonderful and the service excellent, this time we went to Gui Rim, where we were pretty much ignored after sitting down and none of the servers spoke a word of English. Despite communication problems we were able to finish 4+ plates of marinated beef short ribs, thin sliced meat, and chicken. Overall though, I would not go back for a variety of reasons. Despite this, it was a decent enough birthday among many not so interesting birthdays. As the years pass, I'm thinking that I'll eventually be celebrating my birthday by myself while on vacation somewhere warm.....
Now to find some decent fanfiction to read to brighten my night ^_^
